All individual services provided by a Registered Dietitian in Ontario are HST exempt.

However, couple and group services are subject to 13% HST (included in price).

*Square works with any Canadian-issued and most non-Canadian credit cards with a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB or Discover logo.

Coverage

Detailed receipts are provided for health care benefit reimbursement purposes.

Registered Dietitians are licensed under the College of Dietitians of Ontario. All receipts will include my personal Registration # with the College, as well as a description of services, date, and fee breakdown.

Please note that dietitian services are not covered by OHIP and other provincial health plans at this time.

Check your extended health benefits plan or health care spending account. Many individuals are covered (partially or fully) for Registered Dietitian services in Ontario or Canada-wide (i.e. dietitian coverage per session or per year). The coverage for each insurance company and plan is different. We do not direct bill to insurance companies.

If your plan does not cover the services of a Registered Dietitian, save your receipt. In the province of Ontario, Registered Dietitians are classified as “Authorized Medical Practitioners”. Based on your income level, you may qualify for a non-refundable tax credit from the government when you file your taxes.
